Seriously....I believe I you are an ex -AV Idol in Tokyo with no college education, you are pretty much out of luck right? So why wouldn't she want to come to new york. We'll see if she emails, then I may have some fun at her expense, just to see if I can have a repeat of this in the future. Consider this a trail run....

Being a figure collector has it perks

I can't simple say how much I love Oh! great and his sense of style for his characters. Which brings me to my next topic. Being a collector. A big part of being a otaku is, you have to collect the figures! A feat I have twice and failed due to poor management from faults of my own. No worries.

I've been drooling over this beautiful piece of Ringo Noyamano from the anime/manga Air Gear. It's placid beauty in the details of the art work speaks for itself. The Creators' Labo Air Gear: Ringo Noyamano SIF 1/7 PVC Figure - Yamato is a lustrous display of craftsmanship. I think I'm going to be a long standing fan of Yamato figures. I can only count the days until I can have her in my very own arms. You learn to appreciate such marvelous splendor. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself hehe.

Every collector has their theme, or vice, or whatever you want to call it. There may be things in the anime/manga world that just literally grabs a person and grasp them with a iron grip. I just adore all things *kawaii* As a otaku, you have to know what you like. Cat girls? Or maybe Some lolita thrown in the mix. There seems to be no end of idolizing rasin figures and revealing sets a otaku can buy. I am now beginning to understand what the fuss is all about. Of course I can imagine the odd looks from non-anime fans when venturing into a relatively new domain of an otaku.

Thus, I have my first quest. To get my hands on her as my first act of otaku freedom. But I will not make the same mistakes last time by opening them up and displacing them around my room, only to be knocked down and stepped on by cruel and unusual punishment. I will this time wait until I have a big enough place, keep all of the figures and model in it's wrappings until I have a official house warming where ever that may be. Hopefully in the comforts of my dorm room this year.

I have been in rooms full of figures and models of every which way. I have graced the presents of a true collector. And it's not an inexpensive hobby. I failed as a collector because I didn't care enough about my babies.....Perhaps a lesson I need to learn from my best male friend Ricky.

Treat your collection s it's an extension of yourself. That's what an otaku would say. So while I am learning my lessons of long gone I'm going to start my own fund. I'll call it Countdown to Ringo! Factoring in s/h, would be about $65.00 total. I think I can manage that. I will continue to save penny's until i have enough for the model. But you have to admit...she looks a bit like my muse.

Japan's first Chinese Idol gets a raw poster deal

Oh wow...where is the love? Surely otakus deserved better! This poster is a disgrace, and I'm ashamed of the money munchers in Hollywood. Virtually everyone knows of the pathetic failure of the Van-Damn tragedy in , why must they throw in our faces that they can not get a working, marketable Street Fighter film correct?

While I'm not doubting Kristin Laura Kreuk, star of the upcoming feature film, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. I'm am just at a state of shock and awe. Shock and awe at the designers of this god awful poster! MY guess is they the marketing directors didn't think there would be enough of a fan base for Chun-Li so they figure they will be lazy on the cover, which technically makes me feel they didn't even try....we won't talk about that "other" movie right now.

During the early days of Street Fighter, young boys got their first taste of the strong and sexy Chinese beauty who first graced us with her present in Street Fighter II back in 1991.

Arguably one of the first female video game fighters of her time, with a compelling story of justice and honor, and the only one that could go toe to toe with the boys.

Go to any Japanese Anime convention in America and you will see at least 4-5 girls ( bonus if they are Asian) in Chun Li cosplay outfits.

Chun-Li is a staple part of Capcom and the Street Fighter Legacy. She is near and dear to our hearts. Do they not think they can sell her? Well...what do we have?

We have countless dōjinshi dedicated to her, not to mention the hundreds of posters, key chains, T-shirts, figures and dolls. I myself will start to collect Chun-Li, Cammy, and Sakaura memorabilia.

The film is set to premiere Feb. 27th nation wide, starting Kristin Kreuk,Michael Clarke Duncan and Robin Shou (my ,have we missed you!) , which looks like a pretty stellar cast. From the previews thus far, the show shows a lot of promise, , while , still contemplating how well this movie will fair to the masses, I just have a hard time wrapping my arms around this poster. It's tasteless and ugly, brutally plain. How about some skin? It's freaken Chun-Li. Raw deal indeed.

I was browsing the web, and I came across animewriter's blog that show case this beautiful girl. The moment that I laid eyes on her unearthly beauty, a warmth covered me, and I knew that I was in love. As of right now, I feel like I've found my dream idol. Partly the reason that She is the contributing factor that I've started to blog more seriously. She is my muse.

And I don't know if I'm the only person who has had this happened, but I weeped. LOL yes yes, over reacting, but I'm not. I did what any otaku harboring away on the computer at the midnight hour, I searched for more photos and information,. Not to mention the photo album sets, the music CDs and of course the DVDs. And I am very confidence that I will have no problems buying up all of her merchandise once I'm financially able to afford such beautiful toys. :)

She's takes my breath away, I think I'll have to start a fan site someday. Would be pretty interesting :)

.....You know.....maybe I'd like to meet her. Lets see, she is 18 now , which would make her 24? Hmmmm I wonder what 24 year old former idols do in japan......must research.....But...since I'm in control over my life, I think I will meet her.

I do so love Asian girls....how can I not? How could any otaku not? Maybe I'd make her a part of a movie project...I think to have the honor of working with her would be just delightful!

Heh, looks like I've already filmed my first idol lol.

It all starts here....

Forget Myspace, and Facebook, while they are great in their respects. I've never been too great at keeping up with the maintenance that is involved in those sites. I'm a writer, and thus I write, well text actually, and I'm pretty good at it. So this blog will be my every day ranting, personal blog. But will tend to emphasize my love for Japanese culture, such as my muse above. I know I could never compete to what Chris has been able to do, I love his style and dedication.

I would like to note I've been pseudo-blogging for years, since 2002 to be exactly. I was really good with livejournal when it was in it's height, but stopped using it after 2005, for whatever reason. I actually looked back at my livejournal, which i have kept since 2002. And I actually laugh and I thought to myself, " did I actually write/think of that back then?" My, have things stayed the same. Same personal bullshit as always, in all that time, the years haven't been kind to me. But, since my life is about to take a radical turn, I figured it would be best for me to attempt to try my hand at blogging just one last time, and this time stick with it.

I like the idea of being a blogger, I think it suits my personality just fine, and it helps with keeping my hyperactive imagination sharp. So, thank you everyone who will be taking this journey with me.

As it stands, I'm 27 years old, only a semester of college under his belt barely, no job to speak of and is in waiting on the determination of my disability claim. I can truly say I've failed the first half of my life.

It took me awhile to realize what it was that I really wanted in life. TO HAVE IT ALL! My goal is to accomplish everything on this upcoming list. Leave nothing out. Consider this as somewhat of a "bucket list" for those entering into adulthood. I will prove to everyone in the world that if you have the drive, and motivation a person can rise above and beyond expectations and be master's of their own destiny. To farther this goal, I have set a time limit. I will end this blog on September 20th, 2015. I'll be 33 years old, finishing my master's degree in Japan ,( still figuring out how that's going to happen, I may just need to minor in Japanese language, but will aim more for reading and writing and general understanding of the language rather then speaking it, I have my reasons.....) . Aside from that, I will be on my 2nd sports bike, getting ready to enter the Suzuki 8 Hour Endurance Championship. By that time, 3 of the selected child sponsors I will have should be in their late teens. Aside from those long term goals, I still need to focus on my book, having some form of general fame may help me a bit in reaching the other goals, so I will be spending a lot of time in that area. Yeap...gonna be a sweet life. I can't wait. Come next Fall ( assuming things go as planned with the disability, if not, then I will have to go about it the harder way, which would supposedly add an extra year, but if I have to go to sumer class, so be it. I'll be going to R.I.T, Rochester Institute of Technology. From there on , it'll be smooth sailing.

So this first entry is just expected to sort of break some form of ground, give you a background of what my goals and aspirations are. Gezz I know I forgot to add a bunch of stuff here....but can't remember all at this second.....but anyhow...will start my official daily blog tomorrow, so I hope you enjoy!
